This album is a collection of songs inspired by my travels to our hiking trails, rivers, and state parks of the upper midwest. Combined with soundscapes captured in the field, this record contains four original compositions and seven original arrangements of traditional indigenous music. Listed by each track is the song inspiration and the location where nature provided her accompaniment. It is my goal to make musical art by finding the link between creative sound, natural beauty and respect for how indigenous peoples made this land their home.
